Randy Mayhew School of Real Estate Offers Study Materials to Support Study and Training
To meet the demand for more study materials relating to VT real estate practice for both prelicense study and training purposes, RMSOR has developed a series of online practice examinations and other study materials. These materials have NOT been approved by the VT Real Estate Commission Education Committee toward required prelicense or continuing education study. They are intended to be supplemental materials used to study or train in VT practice topics. Check the link above for more details.
Vermont Uses New Examination Company
Effective January 1, 2012, the Vermont prelicense examinations will be administered by Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP). This is great for the candidates who wish to establish a personal exam schedule and to receive results instantly. Broker applicants will find the national portion of the exam in a simulation, rather than multiple choice, format. Additionally, AMP and the VREC have committed to keep exam content current and reflective of legislative changes as and when made. This is all GREAT NEWS for the licensure application process.
Attend Vermont Real Estate Commission (VREC) Meetings
Don't forget you can get two continuing education hours free of charge for attending a meeting of the Vermont Real Estate Commission. You can do this twice in each renewal cycle for a total of four continuing education hours. The only trick is to be sure you don't wait to the last minute as Commission meetings are sometimes cancelled on very short notice, so don't be caught at the last minute. YOU MUST PREREGISTER: Email Judith Griffen at the VREC website to sign up in advance of the meeting. Commission meetings are normally scheduled on the fourth Thursday of each month. There are exceptions so be sure to check with Judith.
